This Privacy Policy describes how Sewly ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our iOS application. Sewly is an AI-assisted sewing app that turns photos of garments into step-by-step sewing and repair plans.
We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information. The App does not require an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, or contact details.
When you choose to generate a sewing or repair plan, the photo you select is sent securely to our server for the sole purpose of creating your plan. Photos are processed transiently, are not linked to your identity, and are not used for any other purpose. Your project photos and progress images are otherwise stored locally on your device only.
If you choose to add body measurements, they are stored locally on your device and included only in your plan requests so results can be sized to you. They are never linked to your identity and you can remove them at any time in Settings.
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as which screens are visited and which features are used) to improve the App. This data is tied to a random identifier, not to your identity, and contains no personal information, no photos, and no measurements.
All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, which processes an anonymous identifier and purchase state only, subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy.
If you allow notifications, reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use remote push notifications and no notification data leaves your device.
These services have their own privacy policies governing their data handling.
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties beyond the services listed above, which are necessary for the App to function.
Our App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
All communication with our servers uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your projects, chats, and measurements remain on your device.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by deleting the App. Since we do not hold personal data about you, there is no server-side personal data to request or erase.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
